I have an Asus pdn-d MB and in the device manager I'm getting a PCI Bus error. Says Memory range not available. I reinstalled windows vista 64bit twice now and It wont go away. Anyone know what this is and how to fix it?

I just checked mine. I have the same thing. However my system runs fine. Is it affecting your system?

Well Right now I'm having trouble with my 9800 gtx crashing. Black screen and all. Didn't know if it might be the cause. Had the nvlddmk.sys error with 174.74 drivers. I used 175.16 and it went from that BSOD to a nvl4mini.sys memory error BSOD. I reinstalled windows and used some beta drivers i found and that has helped a little but I still get driver crashes. I brought my video card over to my friends house today. He has the same set up as me but with an EVGA 680 sli chip set MB and it worked fine. I'm about to just trash this MB and get a new one.

Couple of questions:

1. List your system specs in your user CP.
2. Is the system OC?
3. When does the BSOD happen? Frequency? Any pattern?

Since I reinstalled it happens within 5 mins of playing crysis, And in age of conan it happens when I jack the setting on high 4x AA I get a TDR driver crash. Anytime I seem to put any load on the system it crashes. I put the card in my buddies system yesterday and scored a 12000 on 3dmark 06. He is the one who bumped so u can see we have the same set up besides MB. My 3d mark score when it doesnt crash halfway through is 9500. It's all set to stock no OC at all. Using some beta drivers from 3d guru.com 175.70 have been the most stable so far.

Gumby,

Try this page for more information. Not sure if it'll help much, but I do recall having alot of crashes myself with Vista and nvidia drivers. It turned out to be Ntune causing alot of my crashes.

NVM my last post. I did a quick google and this problem appears to be a Vista, Nvidia, hardware software problem with no direct fix.

People also report having this problem with Non Nvidia chipset also.

Ya what bothers me is my buddy above with a 680- chip set has none of these problems the 7 series has with vista. I may just got get a 680 board and get a bios to run my newer Cpu. The beta driver 175.70 is more stable but when i play crysis or jack up the graphics the driver crashes. I don't know if getting an intel p35 would help. Still thinking about it. Also his 680 board gets 3k more points in 3d mark 06 than my newer one.

thanks for your help
