Q6600 Idle Temp - Page 3

Here's a link to my memory. And I did put a lot of thought into my cooler. I was going to get the TRUE until I've read so many people who said they got the S1283 and that it performed just as well as the TRUE, if not better, so that's why I decided to go that way. As for the case, there's not really any link to it. I got it at Best Buy and they have since taken it off their website, so I can't link it. However, if you want pictures of my case, you can click on my build log in my signature and I have lots of pics of my build along with links to every component I bought for the computer.

Ran Prime95 to see what my temps looked like under a load. After running for about 3 hours, took a screenie. Seems a little high to me, but I'm not sure. Any comments guys?

It's high, 1.325

Those temps are fine... those are the temps of your cores which are rated up to 100c!! Cores themselves are always warmer, for cores at 32-36 is fine for idle that means your actual cpu temp is about 28c, what's wrong with that?

Oh, well I didn't realize that. Most other people are telling me that my idle temps were about 5-10C too high for it being stock and not even overclocked yet. Most people were saying that their q6600 ran in the high 20's to low 30's stock it seems.
