Yeah, from looking at 24in monitors in the store, going from 22 to 24 is insane.
Do you think a 2600pro will support it fine for just text and such? I won't be gaming across 3. I really don't game much, only older games usually.

It can't do 1080p without downscaling, look at the resolution, you need 1920x1080 to display 1080p.
The 24"ers will be fine, I doubt you'd want to game across all three anyway, you'd game on one, the others are for other things.
correct, the main reason for getting these is not gaming. I do video work and it is nice to be able to have the full video on a single monitor as you work.

Its too bright personally. The viewing angles are not great and also the top of the screen is dimmer then the bottom.
As far as brightness, I can turn it down.
I have seen them in the store. The quality is ok, but Im not going to be complaining since their so cheap.
