Small modular PSU? - Page 2

The other alternative I suppose is to just say screw the modular ATX and go for a Micro ATX.

Even though this case is -supposed- to take a full ATX, if it has a size restriction of 140mm that no full ATX can meet then it will have to take a micro atx.

Can anyone recommend a good micro atx psu above 300W?

Lets see. Here are the some modulars that I know will fit:
Liberty 400W and 500W
MOD82+ 425

Here are a couple modulars that are 5.9" and should fit with some HD mounting adjustments:
Antec Basiq plus and Neo Power
Corsair hx520 (better PSU than the Antecs and the Liberty, probably close to the MODU82+ in terms of quality) and a cheaper price here: http://www.buy.com/prod/corsair-520w...203270716.html.

If you decide you don't need modular, these PSUs are 5.5" long and good buys:
Antec EA-430
Corsair vx450 and a bit cheaper here: http://www.buy.com/prod/corsair-vx-4...205466485.html

edit: Here's another PSU that is well priced and is 5.5" if you decide not go modular: OCZ SXS 500w

Awesome, thanks very much! I actually think after reading and looking at the case that modular is more important that they actual size. I read that people just cut the hd cage and put whatever they want in, so that seems good to me.
