Ugh, my idle temps are up by 5-6C since I came home - damn summer weather is going to kill my machine at some point. Good thing my HSF doesn't allow my load temps above 50C.

Ceiling fan on high, AC on 24/7 and put your machine near your AC vent so that your intake fans suck in that fresh cold air. Trust me, my temps jumped from the mid 20's to the mid 30's as soon as it started getting hot outside. I have to keep my ceiling fan on high to keep my temps under 40C idle. I usually have the AC on and keep my room temp about 72C during the day. I can wait for the winter again so I can get my mid 20's back.

Also, increase the size of your exhaust fan. I increased mine to a Vantec Tornado 92mm fan that's hooked up to my MFC's fan control. I only wish you could feel the heat coming out of my case.

During the summer, I clock back down to stock. Where I live, its getting hot and my room is like a furnace.

Electricity prices went up so I can only pick one thing. I'd rather use air conditioning than to suffer the heat for my overclock.

I concur. Very astute. Make the air cooler than it is now. I'm gonna get on that right now.

It's evening, and cooling off where I live, but my CPU is still at 39, and that's with a huge fan sitting next to my computer. It was at over 40 earlier, and I'll have to check tomorrow to see what it gets up to during the day...although I, of course, hope it won't be as hot tomorrow.

My computer's getting old (just a little bit? Mer...), and sometimes when the day is hot I can't even game at all. There's a solution: Stop gaming. Problem fixed! ...Yeah.

I'm thinking about upgrading, although, in my computer's defence, it does pretty much everything I require of it. But for today I'm stuck with waiting for it to get cooler so I can game. *Sigh*
