im in the market for a new motehrboard to replace my crap p5n32-e sli

all i really want to do is overclock the cpu i could care less about sli or crossfire

the new ASUS P5Q Deluxe looks really good, 16 phases

what do u guys recommend i dont really wanna spend more than 200

If you don't want to spend alot of cash go with a P35

Yeah...it's that good.

P35 and X38 are great chipsets for overclocking quads.

and what kind of speed do you think i could hit with the cpu and nb watercooled?

No I don't think it's worth getting the P45, the only advantage it has over P35 is the 8x 8x crossfire and as you said you don't care about crossfire.

You shouldn't need to watercool your northbridge but I'm sure it can only help.

I bet you could do 4Ghz with water cooling

if u are really eager to get the p45 i suggest you to wait for another week or 2 for more p45 that are available... because i think the asus p45 board now is not really worth it
