I love my budget CPU's at this moment in time I own E7200, E2180 Pentium D 805, Pentium 4 661 soon to have Q6600

I was looking on overclockers.co.uk and I came across this cheap monster CPU. People are reporting that they are achieving speeds of 3+ghz on air cooling is this informattion true the CPU spec is below

- Dual Core Technology
- Core2-based CPU
- 1.60GHz clock speed
- 512KB L2 Cache (It's only let down)
- Intel Speedstep Technology
- EM64T 64-Bit Technology
- Execute Disable Bit
- Intel Thermal Monitor 2
- 3 year Warranty
- Supplied with Intel referance heatsink & fan

Any advise because I maybe buying one if it can achieve 3 ghz

The whole E21xx line can hit 3Ghz, and if you're lucky you can do it on the stock cooler.
Blackbox.

You'd be better off with a X2 AMD Than an E1200 tbh...

Get at least an E2180 or its not worth it =)

Ok could you check out My thread in Intel General my parents want a new system. I'm not getting AMD I just wanted to try it because the old E2180 is a brut and will. The reviews on the E1200 is pretty good saying @ 3.0ghz its the same as a E4### @ 2.9 Ghz
