Well, typically if you do not do anything bad with the internet, you will be kept clean. The online scanners are pretty good too. I like it.

ive heard good things about nod32, and avg. if youre into spending more money and slowing your computer down, McAfee or Norton are great at that.

If you don't DL trash off limewire and torrents and get on porn sites and keep your stuff updated you wont need an anti-virus. I haven't gotten a virus in a long time (several years) and I don't use an anti-virus program because I don't let people get on my computer who have no idea what they're doing.
