Canot record audio?

hey guys,

if i try to capture the sound of my card it sounds like **** (hard buzz no sound) i dont have a microphone on it.

Soundmax HD
it doesn't matters with what program i try to capture (or stream)

the sound is just ****, and i have checked every setting on the program. searched all over the web.. but dint find anything useful.. so again.. i end up here, the site of knowlegde

any sugestions what im doing wrong, known bugs? and most inportant, how to fix it

do you have "what you hear" enabled in windows? you wont be able to capture any audio without that option enabled.

and where should i find that.. my windows is dutch but there's nothing looking like it

if you cant find it, you may not have it and may need to get another sound card. i had to plug in my old audigy 2 card into my new rig to capture audio.

yes! it wass called stereo-mix
i can now record the sound.. and its clear!.. thanks 100000 times!
