Hi,

Just overclocked my q6600 to 3.2ghz at 1.3v and im getting about 65c during prme 95 is that ok

ok i droped the voltage to 1.275 temps are now maxing at 55

If you have it check for errors then it sure does. I personally like orthos, or OCCT, worked great in stabilizing my G0 I had running.

You're better off sticking with Prime95 for a Quad.

A failing core on Prime95 would look like this.

Notice the "Worker Thread #1 Not running" You also see a red square. That core has failed the stress test. Usually, you would just need to give it a little more vcore to stabilize it.



EDIT: Make sure you have the Quad supported Prime95.
