I was hoping from the topic that it would be a Mac commercial that wasn't just a stupid attack on Windows. Dropping the iPhone down to 200 bucks was a good move - I bet they'll sell a ton of them.

As for their advertising practices (off topic sort of): the most recent commercial is possibly the most annoying one yet. They have the "Vista support group" thing where the PC bugs out - har har. Vista has been *much* less buggy than XP and has yet to crash once after almost a year of use. I have hardly touched a Mac through my life, but I had to use them in my physics class last semester and the pieces of crap were crashing and bugging out all the time (every one in the class - not just ours). They don't even mention the mac in the ad either - they just have that smug punk stand there while the PC guys talk. I suppose it's hard to come up with a good advertisement when you have an overpriced inferior product, but it really makes me mad seeing that kind of crap. I don't want an iPhone or an iPod due to my hatred for Macs (from experience with them and their obnoxious ad campaign).

Smear campaigns suck.

Though I agree that their Ads are really misleading, I don't find their products inferior to PC in any way. They are both good at what they are for.

But anyway lets stick to the topic. The 3G iPhone AD is awesome I got all hyped up every time I watch it.

Hey, while the iphone might be at $199, the price to pay for the unlimited Data plan went up by $10. So instead of $20/month, you will be paying $30

So you are going to paying $120 more per year.

Plus now, you absolutely have to get a 2year contract along with getting activated within the store

I wonder if it's going to be importable, since you have to sign a contract in the store :/

I get the feeling this is going to be a big booboo. I might wind up getting the EDGE version, the way it looks now...
