Ok, soooo...

I sold my gaming rig because I def. don't game anymore and I felt that the investment wasn't doing me any good just sitting there unused. One of the things about getting a macbook is that they arent great for gaming, but I may be able to squeeze a little bit out of one if I get a used macbook pro.

Anyways I have decided that I want a macbook and given the special that is going on right now it is a great time to get one.

Here is where it gets tricky..

Option #1

I don't want to spend that much and I am considering getting a new black macbook with my student discount for $1399 + $299 for the Itouch and then after rebate it will come out to the $1399. If I sell the Itouch on ebay I can probably get at least $280 back so it would come out to a little over $1100 after rebate.

The new macbook would be 2.4ghz and would come with a 250gb HD and 2gb of memory.

Option #2

There is a black macbook at 2.0ghz with a 320gb HD on craigslist in my area listed at $1000, but I talked her down to $900. She says that there are alot of expensive programs on it, so that may be good but I doubt that I would use any of them. I could get this macbook and be done with it, but then again here comes the fact that the regular macbook doesn't have a good video card.

Option #3

I have been living without my own computer for over a month now, my girlfriend has a computer that she lets me use to go on OCN and sell stuff. I can wait around and scout craigslist every day and try to pick up a used macbook pro. Soo... I would prefer to get a used macbook pro because I want the computer to support some games such as counterstrike and warcraft 3 pretty well because that is about all I may play. If GTA4 comes out for PC I would definitely pick that up, and I'd want my computer to support that. I don't NEED a computer right now by any means and I don't want to purchase a macbook just because there is one available to me right now which I stated in option #2.

If I do buy a used macbook pro I know that I would first have to get the serial number and get it checked out through apple, so that is not a problem at all. I'm just not sure what to do right now, because macbooks go up for sale all the time.I do know that I would never buy a macbook pro new because basically I'm not going to shell out that much dough on a laptop.

SOOOOOO OCN MEMBERS, help me decide what I should do!!

P.S. please don't try to convince me not to get a mac because I am definitely getting one in the end. I am open to ANY and ALL advice.
