EVGA 780i Or Something Else? - Page 2

780i or 750i if you don't need the things mentioned. If I had to do an RMA for $40 I would be buying a new mobo fo sho! Good luck with your new board, whatever it may be!

I would call up EVGA and tell them to cross ship you a new mobo. No reason to pay another $40 for a RMA that they should have gave you a new board.....then turn around and sell it. If you want SLI, get the 750i FTW, if you want TRI-SLI, get the 780i, or if you are going to stay with a single GPU platform like I am, pick up a P35/45 board and enjoy the stability.

So now I have a choice of buying a new mobo or attempt another $40 RMA. This will be the second one by the way.... -.-

1) RMA again
2) Buy a 780i
3) Buy something else
3) Buy something else

I have the 780i and I would have to recommend something else. Too many issues with this board. Go over to the eVGA forum. There are people still having issues even with the P05/p BIOS which came out about 2 weeks ago to replace P04, which had the infamous video corruption issues.

I attached a history of my issues. I could not watch flash videos under P04 because of the infamous video corruption issue (caused PC lockup follow up a requiring a reboot), which P05/p was suppose to fix. Now with under P05/p, I get BSOD's while playing World of Warcraft.
