I want to find a Micro atx board that will overclock and run an E7200.

I've seen some decent OCs with the Gigabyte G31 chipset board. I've seen them even be able to OC quads fairly well.

This ECS G31 i bought for my dad i had in after my board died...it wasn't much but it did overclock my E6300 to 2.31ghz with just simply changing the fsb to 330. I haven't found an option to change voltage yet even though the setting in BIOS is "Voltage/Frequency options"

Still i guess almost a half of a ghz for a board i paid $37 open box and it has onboard video and is micro ATX ain't too bad honestly. I imagine that the gigabyte g31 would be better though becuase it's a gigabyte and they overclock well.

With the Gigabyte boards, you press <Ctrl> & <F1> to access the 'advanced' features in the BIOS.

Sorry, I can't direct you to a board lemans81

Well I am hoping to pick up an e7200, I need to do a lot more research to find out if its compatible with the 45nm.

You need to check out the Asus P5E-VM HDMI. I just recently got mine for my mATX build. I have no problem getting 450fbs and up! I have my Q6600 B3 running at 3.4ghz, and an E6750 at 3.5ghz, though it is the chip holding it back and it doesn't help that it only has a 8x multi.

If you have a good overclocking cpu you are golden! The only issue if you call it is the vdroop, which you just compensate by adding more voltages. IE: if bios says 1.6v it usually is around 1.46v in windows under load.

Other than that, it works like a champ. NB does run hot, though if you have a ventilated system you should be fine. I have a 120mm antec fan blowing over it and it keeps it cool to the touch.

If you want to wait... DFI will be coming out with a P45 LanParty mATX motherboard.

DFI had two new boards to note at Computex, the first was a µATX P45 board called the Lanparty P45-T2RS. This is one of the only, if not the only, Lanparty board that comes in such a small form factor. Given where it comes from, if you want a small machine that clocks to the moon, this might be a good choice.
Once again...
