Intel (budget) CPU

E1200 @ 3.0GHz (will perform the same as E4600 @ 2.6 GHz)

E2200 @ 3.0GHz (perform the same as E6600 @ 2.8GHz)

How true is this informattion

As far as i know that is probably correct but the cache are different so the E6600 at it's stock speed will be slightly faster than a E2200
As for the E1200, that too makes me seem a little sceptical!
I would go for the E2180, 2.0Ghz stock speed, only £41 on www.ebuyer.com
With a better Air Cooler or even water cooling, 3.5Ghz speeds can be acheived!!
Try www.intel.com for some comparisons!

I have an E2180 and i'm well impressed with it that why I posted this Thread I love the budget CPUs
