Maximum Temps and Volt.

Thread Starter
Hey everyone,

Im basically writting this up because I'm new to Oc'ing and I'm kind of lost. Okay here's why:

(I'm sure you can see my system somehow so I don't think I have to post my system info again.)

Well, I want to OC it and I have AI Suite v.1.03.16 and Prime95 v24.14. I OC'ed my cpu with AI suite to 20% which made it go to 3.20 basically and I ran Prime95 and its been running at full load for about 8 hours now and my CPU temp is at 33c-37c and when its idle its at around 17c. AI says that my CPu is at 1.2960v with a FSB of 1600.76 and 0400.20 X 08.0. I honestly don't want to do this OC through software.

Now my question is, is there any way of knowing what is the MAX temp and Volts for my CPU, MEM, and Vid card so I can get into the BIOS and not **ck up my comp? and Can I/should I continue to OC it?

Thanks for the help, Let me know if any other info is needed.

your nb should stay under 1.55

NEVER EXCEED 1.365 volts on 45nm CPU - this is actual volts, not the setting

max OC is yours to discover... testing is the way to find

Use RealTemp to monitor temps. It's (so far) the most accurate program to measure 45nm chips.

Temps seem good, I would stay under 50-60c under load, though you probably won't be stable once your temps get that high.
Blackbox.

Look at VID voltage range, the higher number is the max vcore you want to push through it, and thermal specification.
