i have rivatuner but couldnt figure out where to go to set up the fans...

Just disable the "thermally controlled fan speed" in the BIOS--the option should be there, perhaps under power management options--likely it's something you can disable in the bios, no need to buy a fan controller...

Also, to help in answering your questions more precisely, fill out your system specs in the User Control Panel (like, brand of motherboard for example, so if someone has your same one, they can tell you just what to change...).

Alright, I'm off onto a journey into BIOS in hopes of finding this Fan speed option you speak of!

quick replys here -- this is where i'll go from now on if i have any questions :O and i will fill the info out sooner or later

Thanks a lot works like a charm, except the blue screen error i got after loading windows (causing a forced restart)... maybe that was some random thing though.

Awesome, glad it helped! I'm pretty sure the BSOD you got was just a fluke, and nothing related to changing the fan option.

What program do i need to view my temperatures? (my gpu and cpu preferably)

Been playing GRID these past few days and everytime i set the graphic options to the max, my system freezes after a few minutes... sometimes seconds.

didnt want to start a new thread...

Everest is very good, I use it for my computer. Everest shows all of your temps and sensors but is somewhat processor intensive and can sometimes be slow. CCC, RivaTuner, and stuff like that is for GPU only, CPU-Z, RealTemp, and SpeedFan are for CPU only.

i got everest now and rivatuner but i cannot find the temperatures anywhere within these programs...
