Optical lag on Z-5500 Help !!

I have my z-5500 setup with an fiber optic cable to my Playstation 2 , no matter what's my ps2 playing , it's will play but for some reason it's will lag like 1 or 2 second , i don't have this problem with analog , so far i've try diffrent optic cable , does every one have this problem ? will appreciate any info , thanks.

There aren't any options for a sound delay with the Z-5500's as far as I know, so it sounds like the Playstation 2 or the optical cable is the problem. Check to see if there are any audio options with the Playstation, I cannot remember as I haven't played around with one in a while. Sorry I can't help you further.
