Crysis vs 9600GT/8800GT - Page 7

I play at 1280x768 resolution and my 8800gt is fine. I get 45-50ish fps on high settings and 25-30 on enthusiast. The motion blur seems to be what hits it hardest. You should be able to run it on all very high with motion blur on high/medium and the motion blur slider set the minimum.

3.0-3.2 seems to be the sweet spot for the intel cpu's with 1 8800gt. I tested mine at 2.4/3/3.6 ghz. Going from 2.4-3 gave a good jump in fps on high graphics. 3-3.6ghz did barely anything.

i just cannot stand on the side's if i see a thread with a BS statement in it. I.E the 9600 would crush the 8800. (even worse he posted a MSI link!!!) really i just wanted to let people know in nice big bold red letters. 8800 = win.

This is true! I was surprised when this thread turned up in my subscriptions again, any chance a mod could close it?
