What kind of PSU and Wattage do you guys think 2x 4870 crossfire would need?

would 850w PSU be sufficient what are your predictions?

I think 750W will be cutting is close. I would get this PcP&C 750W
or maybe a 1000W from Corsair, PCP&C, Silverstone, Seasonic

As of now, we know single 4870 is 157w so 2x is around 300w. Remebered these wattage is from 12v rails so with OC on GPU and CPU, I would say a good 750W PSU should be fine.

an 850 watt PSU would be plenty.

I mean, you could run 2900 XT CF on a decent 750 watt, so 4870 CF probably won't come close to that level of power consumption.

I agree with linsikingdom, 750w would be fine, id get a 720w corsair PSU, or a 825w pc power and cooling one
