I am going to be building a new rig pretty soon and was either going to use a 8800GT or 8800GTS G92 for my graphics card. I will be running a Q6600 on a DFI P35 motherboard with 4gb of memory. I will also be getting a 22 inch widescreen LCD monitor which is 1680x1050 in resolution. I know that the GTS G92 will be able to handle games like COD4 and Crysis at this resolution with minimum lag, but what about the 8800GT? I was looking at the EVGA 8800GT Superclocked Edition vs the XFX 8800GTS G92. The GT is $190 and the GTS is $240. I can save about $50 with the GT, but will I still be able to get a decent overclock and be able to play Crysis and Call of Duty 4 on the GT? Or, should I just stick with the GTS since I know that it can overclock and handle these games? Also, if I wanted to make my GT quieter (if I did get one), what should I do? Thanks for the help.
