Hi, I have some trouble overclocking my q6600 past 2.9 ghz (322 fsb). When I try to boot up on anything past 2.9 ghz my ram wont make that "beep" sound and nothing will appear on my screen.

My system specs are:

Q6600 G0
DFI LANPARTY DK P35-T2RS
Crosair XMS2 2gb ddr2 800

that might be your problem then... its should be 1:1 untill you get your cpu stable.

download cpu z and click on the memory tab... let us know what your DRAM frequency is and what your FSBRAM ratio is

on my board the default ram divider was 3 so if thats the case on your board at 322 fsb your 800mhz ram would be running at 966mhz

Im not familiar with that board but try setting you target DRAM speed to 333/800

There are many holes that need to be filled in here. First, go to the top of the page, click on User CP and fill in all your system specs. It makes it MUCH easier to help you.
Second, you said you fooled with voltages but it didn't help. You need to set your RAM voltage manually. Many boards default to 1.8 and that could be your issue. You need to find out what your RAM should be run at.
Also your Q6600 can handle up to 1.55 volts, How high have you tried so far?
Have you bumped up your NB(North Bridge, could also be called MCH or MCP) that may need more volts.
You may also be in an FSB hole. Have you tried bumping it up to 333 instead.
