How Good Is This MOBO for overclocking

Intel x48

http://www.compusa.com/applications/...517&CatId=2547

Since the hardware world is always changing, and recent reviews have shown favorable results towards the new ATI GPU's (4850 looking at you), I've developed 2 options, towards how my new PC is gonna be set up.

I might go for a 790i, o for the x48, the question I have about this x48, is how good is it for overclocking a q6600, with some ocz ddr3 1333

PS: Also, I know it's wrong forum, but I supose it's better to ask you rather than best buy A$$E$, if I buy an OEM hardrive (as they sell them on TD), how do I connect it to my PC (as in what cables, or stuff should I buy/do to set it up)

I'm kinda interested on future proofing (I know It's kinda crazy, but I at least want it to last till late 2009)

Since I know ddr3 prices are gonna fall (eventually), plus I'm not really decided between which option to choose (the probably expensive nvidia one, or the relatively cheap but still good ATI)

Overclocking would be nice, since It would allow me to get even more than I paid for, while still saving some money doing it.

If you can help me, I'd like to show both of my possible setups, just so the guys. that really know about PC's could give me some advices.

With Nehalem not that far, I might hold on my 790i SLI or even X48 purchase decision if I were you.

I'm not in a rush to buy a new PC (I don't game that much, it's just that my actual PC, can't do much more than MSN and iTunes.

What you say does makes sense, but since I don't live in the US, I can only go once a year, which would be on August, and if it can wait probably get someone to bring it to me on january.

Do you recommend me to hold on (january 09 is the most I can wait) or just go for it this summer. (as you say, I'd hold on just till nehalem's release )

Yeah, I'd really like to get some help please, on it depends the possible expense of $2k plus on my side, so I'd appreciate some responses.
