Problem SLI 8800GT with 780i - Page 2

I think your PSU doesn't have enough amps to power your system. All PSU's are not created equally. I had a 600W enermax that wasn't enough for my 8800GT SLI, OC C2D, and all the rest of the hardware. It only had 22A on 2 12V rails but combined only 35A. I upgraded to the corsair TX750 and everything is happy and overclocked!

I got my new 780i motherboard with a second 8800GT today and couldnt wait to install it. I've installed everything and reinstalled windows vista business x64 with it and it worked. So i went over to the drivers of my motherboard (EVGA 780i SLI) and then my 8800GT drivers and restarted my pc. When i did i got a windows pop-up that said SLI was detected.
I started Nvidia panel and wanted to enable SLI. The screen went black with a little white stripe flashing in upper left corner like its installing. But after 10 minutes it still trying to enable SLI but doesnt looks like it and i restart pc. And after that the geforce drivers are deleted and needed to be installed again.

I want to know if anyone knows this problem and the fix. Im downloading service pack 1 right now.

Specs:
EVGA 780i motherboard
E6850 @ 3,0ghz
2gb DDR2
1 old 8800GT 600/1500/1800
1 new 8800GT 600/1500/1800

Only difference in GT's is the cooler.
Someone help me? I was the one with a question about the problem and dont want to hear people about PSU's please. Its not i dont want people to fix there problem but just make new thread about it.

To post 1,I went into bios and changed setting from PCI/PCIe To PCIe/PCI &myne workted ok after that .It read that the cards were working in SLI mode.Just wouldnt start games up .Never froze or crashed either.Gotta be PSU Supply.Anyway worth a look & good luck with it.
