Hiding the cables?

Thread Starter
Guys,

I'm needing to find something that I can use to hide my cables in my case. It's a full tower and there is a space in between the mobo and the drive cages. This is where my cables are stuck out in the open.
So, I'm looking for something to cover it with, like foam or some other material?
I could use Noise Dampening stuff, but it's like $18-20 a sheet and I don't think I'll really benefit much from it since I have 2 large 250mm holes on the side of my case It's not loud anyway.

So my thought was to use some thin sheet of foam or similar but I don't know where to get such a thing? Craft store perhaps? Is there something else that could be useful?
I've considered using acrylic and trim it out and paint / uv lighting to hide them while giving a custom interior look, but it would be hard to remove occasionally for cleaning, etc. Anything else I can use?

Thanks.

I think doing something like this would look pretty badass

Just get you a piece of diamond plate aluminum and stick in there.

You can route them under the mobo and behind it. You can stick extra wires in a 5.25in bay. The one cable that goes up in the top left corner of the board can be routed under the graphics card.
Take a look at this. hopefully it gives you some suggestions.

I looked over the thread there. Going to have to study my case a little more and see if I can move any around anymore, but there isn't any room under my mobo
Attached a fairly recent pic to help clarify what I mean. I have cables in between that I can't really "hide" so well. My PSU is on top which makes it a little more inconvenient. I might just have to get a new case so I can better manage my cable output. I'm also currently stuck with an IDE DVD drive and an old IDE 120gb drive, and I have a floppy in there still

Will be getting SATA replacements very soon which will help with the cable bunching, but they will still run across the back in that empty void there.

The GTX has 2 cables that run on the oposite side of the mobo which is also a problem. Cables aren't long enough to simply hide under stuff.

If you do that you have no I/O ports accessible

Just go with the routing the cables around the back - even if there is not much room just sit on the panel or something, they will squash down and it will close.

I considered this with 2 standouts, as I can mod an I/O blank, but there isn't enough room to connect my network Too far over. (if that's what you mean?)

Sit on the panel? heh
I could cut the sleeving which would help.. a little. However, one of the issues with this is the fact that the PSU is on top. It's modular but the cables aren't quite long enough. I might end up getting another case to mod and then I have free time to mod this one to extremes maybe.

I had to almost sit on it to get mine closed - look at the pic - and my case has about 3-4mm of clearance:
