CPU-Z issue with RAM reading.

Hey guys,
As you can see on "My First Built System" I have 4gb g.skill ram. Its retail mem is 1000 with 5-5-5-15 timing. I'm running my comp at only 3.0Ghz with 9X. I wanted 2:1 ratio so i set it onto my bios as follows:
  • Ram Timing: 333/667
  • Target Ram Timing(Can't manually control): 667
  • 5-5-5-15
  • Ram Volts: 2.1V(doesn't seem like it's running in 2.1 though)

When I opened up the CPU-Z however, it shows that my max bandwidth is only 6400 which means mine is only 800 not 1000. I checked my G.Skill box and it is surely 1000 version. My FSBRAM is only 1:1 running 333.3 which is not the target ram timing i set inside the bios.

P.S. Do you guys think I can OC my system around 3.4-3.6?

Q6600 @ 8x400?

333/667 is 1:1, not 1:2.

You don't want either ratio.

If you are running 8x400 for the CPU like i'm guessing, you should pick the 4:5 (266/667) ratio, which will give DDR2-1000 speeds.

Make sure tRFC is set loose initially, around 55+.
Same thing with Performance Level aka tRD. 8+ would be a good idea initially; you can work on tightening it up once you have things stable at whatever speeds you settle on.
