Best 2x120mm Radiator?

I have a Swiftech setup and I was wanting to get a dual 120mm radiator. Is it fine if I run a radiator from another brand in my setup? If so which radiator is best or should I just get a MCR-220-QP?

I think the only thing you should worry about is what meatal its made of. Generally you want it do be the same as all the other components, like your waterblock.

What should you get? It really depends on your budget. I'd get something like a TFC X-Changer 240mm if you got the cash.

A very popular one is the dual heatercore from dangerden. It fits exactly 2x 120mm fans, and if you buy through dangerden you can pick up a shroud for it. They're $35 plus shipping, but they solder on barbs for you. You can buy them at local auto parts stores for cheaper, Just ask for the 1977 bonneville heatercore without A/C. Im running my sig rig with one of those heatercores, and with a q6600@ 3.7ghz AN D my 2900XT being cooled by it, my temperatures are ~52C load on the chip and 45C load on the gfx card. Its really quite a wonderful little radiator.

The absolute BEST 2x120mm radiators are the Black Ice GTX 240 if you're using 47CFM+ fans, or the thermochill PA 120.2 if you're using lower than 47CFM "silent" fans. Both of those radiators will do fine. Since you have one of the swiftech kits, you will need to get a separate reservoir because only the swiftech QP radiators have built in reservoirs. I presume you have the swiftech drive block/pump, so make sure that whatever you get has fittings for 3/8" tubing.

I have 2 GTX240's in a single loop and they are awesome. I use 88CFM Scythe Kaze Ultra's with them and I've gotten excellent results.

240 GTX with 47+cfm fans..240 GTX..I'd use some decent cfm 120x38mm fans on it, I'd run at least this size fans on any rad..86cfm Pana...And shrouds on it...If all your cooling is that CPU the 220 Swifty would be fine as is, you might get away with a GPU on it also if you not looking for high clocks...

..Part 1- 480 GTX Temp's with and with-out shrouds

..Poll: Push or pull configuration for Radiators

..How To: Make any Sized shroud in 2 minutes

..How To: Build A Performance Shroud

No, my radiator doesn't have the reservoir built in, I have a Swiftech reservoir.

Oh I was under the assumption that you had one of the QP reservoirs.

I'm pretty sure they have the QPs both with and without a built in res.
