Fan speed control not responding?

Thread Starter
I'm trying to use speedfan to change my case fans and cpu fan to what I feel is good, but it only detects the temps and says its working at 100% when its only running at around 1500 rpm. Is there anyother program that will let me see the fan speeds and let me modify them?

well usually for speed control in speedfan you have to configure it, and its a big hassle. good thing is that you can download configurations for your motherboard at the speedfans site. just download a few and try each one. i got mine to work like 5 configs later...

EDIT: heres the site, have to be registered to download the configs http://www.almico.com/sfhandleconfig.php
i used the GA-P35C-DS3R (Rev. 1.x) config on a GA-P35-DS3L. so try it.

Does your motherboard support PWM and/or Voltage control? If so, which headers?

if you go into configer/advanced and pick the right chip for the mobo it should let you change the PWM modes, switch them to software controlled and you should be set.
