if you ever plan to go nehalem, go with the 4870x2's cfx support is your only option with nehalem. NO SLI! ahah

Nehelem is the next generation of Intel CPUs. Like, Conroe, then Penryn, next is Nehelem. Uses a different socket, IIRC.

If you want to choose between 280 and 4870x2 then wait till 280 and 4870 are released. CF 4870 should give you idea of how fast the x2 will be.
