I have been told that this bored isn't much of an overclocker. Is this true because for the price I relly like the look of this bored and I would like to get 3.0GHz out of the CPU im getting?

Its good enough just hit up XFX website and download the latest BIOS version i think its P09 and start testing but watch temps.

Please read the stickied post in this section, the 680 overclocking guide, it has some great tips and information in it, including the wonderful pencil mod.
