Lol... The humor in this post. They're being sued because their TV's use the same technolgy as the Quality HDTV's, and their prices are cheaper only because they haven't paid the royalties on the patents and technologies they are using.

I say go with what you can afford and buy the warranty. Once you get a tv home, what other tv are you going to compare it too. I bought a Polaroid because I couldn't afford a more expensive tv. I would prefer to get a Pioneer but love my Polaroid.

Find it hard to believe anyone would call any LCD a quality TV. For me the larger TVs, 40 inches and up, is like watching a video game at 20 frames a second.

Then why do they look like crap when placed next to a more expensive TV? The picture is very grainy and washed out and fooling with the settings doesn't help. If they looked the same, EVERYONE would buy them!

i dunno, i ahve a 42" and a 47" Vizio lcd... they are beautiful and I only feed them high quality, high rez movies and the picture is better than most sony's and pioneers I have seen in the store. Now, Give me a pioneer and let me tweak it out and feed it a decent video, and maybe I can agree that its worth a few bucks extra... but I doubt it!

So your saying that you carried(or your friends carried)there/your Nice big tvs to each others house and placed them net to yours/theres tv's and compared?

Your such a goob... Don't get all High and Mighty about Quality of HDTV's because you can afford your Brands and flaunt them like a billboard when decent is alright to a lot of people...

Anyways, My step dad and my girlfriends family have vizio and I think there are quality for the price, considering they use the same stuff the big brands do, but just not pay for it.. They are the pirates of TV's Arrr... Anyways. I will agree, You get what you pay for, for a nice living room or bedroom you get what looks good to you. For a Entertainment center, which a lot of people can't afford, yeah, get the Best, Look for that price tag and compare it to how much you or your daddy made last year after taxes and go for it.
