Is that not a relatively low 3Dmark06 score?

That's about what a heavily overclocked 8800GTX gave me not too many moons ago. And this is far cheaper than a GTX, of course there is a good part of that score that is CPU. I score just under 13K in 3D06 with a single HD3870.

For a stock 4850? I don't think so. I mean, 8800GT's were hitting 9-10k or so and they would trash 3850's if you're looking for a comparison.

Keep in mind thats a Quad @ 4GHz. That score seems about right actually.

Perhaps, but you have to take immature drivers into consideration too... So the score should hopefully improve.



^My 06 score... (17574)With an OCd 8800GTS G92 and 3.95ghz Q6700.

Personally I'm looking forward to the 4870...

My 8800GT gets 11K with a 3Ghz Core 2 Duo E4500. That is with a 4Ghz Quad.
