as stated above, i am looking for a really sweet top of the line headset. Something that has noise cancelling, bass...ect i am looking to keep them under $400. post links of anything great that you find. btw the headset will be mostly for gaming, but i will probably also use them to listen to music.

thanks

I wish I had the deep pockets for something that extreme... then again I can buy a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system for my computer for around $280! Go go employee discounts and Polk audio!

Check out tigerdirect.com and browse through there, hell even try google.

yea ive been browsing around on newegg, although they dont seem to have a huge selection of top of the line headsets, and for the few that they do have, they seem to be getting bad reviews. has anyone here had expirience with high end headsets, can any one make a reccomendation from expirience?

DT 770's Pro 80 + an amp. DT's are bass monsters, they don't have active noise canceling [it degrades audio quality] but block sound out really well. are EXTREMELY comfortable, you can find them for 200$ new, or less.

Then spend 150$ on a nice amp [depends if you want it to be portable, or a desktop amp, youll get higher quality out of a desktop amp, but it's not portable] and 50$ on a nice Inter connect and you're set.

x2 but yea the 770's have great isolation. (-18db) for a closed can. the only thing i seen better than that is IEMs. but soundstageing on iems arnt great.

If you want to spend that much for a headset, just get a good pair of headphones and amp, along with a clip-on mic. A headphone amp makes the sound better . Somebody else can it explain it to you.
