on that matter what does everyone reckon on 4gb of corsair xms2 6400 vs 8GB xms2 6400s?

basically does extra 4GB make any diff on a 64bit OS?
I don't know about going from 4gig to 8gig, but I do know a friend who complained about how slow and crappy Vista was, why did he pay $200 for Vista, etc. I advise him to get more ram, he was on 2gig only. He upgraded to 4gig total, now he thinks Vista is the best OS he's ever used.

I had to pull 2 gb out of my system when I was using XP. Vista Ultimate ran fine for me with 2gb, but yes it is even snappier with the 4gb installed back in the system.
