Is a pci-e 2.0 8800gt worth the money over a pci-e 8800gt?

PCI-E and PCI-E 2.0 are the same slot except the bandwidth is higher on 2.0. Would you notice the difference? Nope....not on an 8800GT anyway. If you were running a SLI system maybe but even then it would be unoticed.

as far as i know all 8800gt's are rated for a 2.0 bus, it just might not say it in some of the adds your looking at.
