iRacing

Thread Starter

A friend of mine found this the other day. Looks like it could potentially the best racing sim that I've seen. It's not released yet but I already plan on getting a 1 year subscription the day it's released

www.iracing.com

And a full preview of iRacing

Way too expensive for what it is... yearly subscription and you have to pay to get more tracks and cars - and considering the game won't come with many, things may be getting very expensive.

I presume you mean that as a joke? GRID is in no way a sim, and this is probably going to be on of the most accurate sim racing games there has ever been. The only thing that is better on GRID is the graphics... the car physics and sounds are unrealistic as they are designed to appeal to the NFS/arcade racers, which is a much bigger and more accessible market. This is designed to be very realistic and im sure it will be, but i still stand by my original opinion that it will be way too expensive.

Live for Speed does everything that game claims to do and it's been around alot longer,
Just looks like an over priced clone to me.

As far as that being a preview... it was more of an advert.

There is no chance in hell i'd pay yearly to play that game when i could just
spend $40 and play live for speed for aslong as i liked.

And a bad advert at that if it is!

Video no longer works. And I'm curious.
