GRID, wow cool game, now i'm thinking about a steering wheel

I have a steering wheel and pedal system for the playstation 1 and 2. Right now it sits in the attic collecting dust and I would like to put it to use. I recently downloaded the GRID demo and I thought that is was difficult to play with a keyboard, but still fun. How hard would it be to rewire a PS2 steering wheel so that I could run it on my computer? What about drivers are they hard to come across? thanks

I friend of mine has one of these he uses for BeatMania - he really likes it.

I don't believe you can directly rewire a Playstation controller for PC use.

You can go to RadioShack and pick up an adapter for $10. It would be a much easier and hassle free way.

I've used one of these because I use to play DDR/ITG but you have to have a mapping program to make each button do something of course. I WISH it was that easy haha. But other than that, I def. also really want to get a wheel for GRID because it's so fun.

Thanks a lot guys . I'll pick one up at radio shack, I just wanted to be sure there wasn't a DIY way to do it first .
