Ziggeractly my point... they rock as little pc's but now they are pushing the solid state, but the features cant keep up with what real laptops are.. so you are buying mobile smaller but heck.. If you want small get one of the new PDA's, my old navman 530 with some tickling can play divx videos..spreadsheet etc..

Tell me can it boot winxp of a 16gb Cf card?
Yes it can support up to 2GB. I have 1GB as you simply do not need anymore than that unless you want to slap some games on..but even with 1gb its enough. Yes you can run XP on an SDHC card..not CF.

I am getting an 8GB SDHC to move the Vista Winsxs folder to to free up lots of space on the Internal SSD.

Yes Vista runs....well just awesome. I Vlited it to remove the needless crap to get it to install fully on a 4GB SSD and you can rather nicely. Plus once I get the 8GB SDHC I will be laughing.

Sorry to hit you with Q's Enterprise... Is SDHC the internal memory, StaticHardCard? I Thought that was hardwired or am I mixing up my terminology. Also Vliting is new to me, a mate mentioned it the other day... for my xp tv machine, it only needs vid drivers and the capture card.

This super-cheap laptop segment is going out of track. Let's get real: who needs a 40 gig SSD on a web-browsing laptop? Heck about a year ago I was still living off a 80 gig drive on my old laptop and I could hardly fill it!

What users really want is a machine that's well-built, plain, portable, and that has a greater that usual battery life.

Luckily there are competitors. Let's hope the MSI Wind gets a budget laptop implementation of Atom straight, I want an Atom laptop really bad.

ASUS gone way too far with the price, from what they originally the started with...The Eee PC suppose to be a low-cost laptop, that's why it's small, not a high-cost-laptop-for-a-tiny-size, like Sony.

I take it, if you ran a business, you would NEVER expand your product line, because it wasnt what you originally started with..

Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the MSI Wind? The 10.2 screen and almost full size keyboard will be the perfect note taker in class. Then if I need to do any real computing, I have my desktop.
