NVidia chipsets have lots of problems when all four RAM slots are filled, 2x2GB kits use ICs that are inferior, in terms of overclocking, to 2x1GB kits. Intel Chipsets don't have problems with all of their RAM slots filled.

He says he doen't intend to overclock the RAM. Really I would still go for 2x2gb any day (I know I know, I have 4x1gb )

You can try it, I've never bought Geil before. I can tell you, I am 100% sure that Mushkin's RedLine DDR2-1000 2x1GB kit is made of D9GKX. Want the catch? It's $215 for 2GB.

I guess another downfall is that here in my backwards country, mushkin products arent readily available, and have to be imported. *Sigh*

Like I said, it's only one option. Buffalo FireStix, and anything from TankGuys.com will have D9GMH/GKX.

What website do you usually use? I can try and look if they have anything.
