IF YOU HAVE THE MONEY, I suggest going for either the Patriot DDR2-1200 or the PNY DDR2-1173. The second set of Patriot memory has a higher chance of being Elpida, Samsung or Powerchip(least likely). There are a few other possible ICs for all of the chips, but only D9s can overclock past 1150.

Jesus christ its expensive here! Roughly $400 for that PNY RAM..

EDIT: This thread is dead now. I've decided to wait till christmas for my new build.

Don't worry buddy, by Christmass, Nehalem will be out, the X58 chipset will be out, and DDR3 prices should be equal to that of DDR2
