still, 60dB is loud. and MUCH louder than 40dB
Sound doubles by 2db right? So 70 db would be 2^8 times as loud as 62db right?

Anything over 35dba I consider loud, and anything over 50dba intolerable. Even with the 46dba scythe, feels like someone's vacuuming my desk.

On a TRUE? God yes. I could probably tolerate the 'push' one, but the 'pul'' one is probably twice as loud and takes off 1C.

Surprisingly, it is not that much louder with both on. If I only leave the pull one on, it's louder, how, I have no idea. The temperature difference is a little bigger actually xD

Have a fan running in open air, then put your hand near where it blows. Result: a bit more noisy, hand is cold lol. Now put your hand on the back....God help me...Not only does the sound double, but your finger get's sucked in. Putting a filter on the back of uber-silent fans makes them completely audible as well.
