High e7200 temps!

I just installed and turned on my new build and my DFI lanparty DK p35 is saying the CPU is around 48-50 degrees C, is this bad reporting or did i mount it wrong, i have the pro freezer 7 on it with artic silver, i used about 2 grains of rice worth

my friend was close to 40 C idle w/ the stock heatsink using artic silver. I think the abient was about 26 c (approaching 80F).

Also, that was right after we got it put together. The temp might of gone down a little since then.

You need to use a line of AS5 (per the instructions)

Are those load or idle temps, what is your ambient?

ok its fine, now, i re seated it, using more artic silver,and now its at 35 degrees C. Will these pins on the heatsink easy undo themselves, i almost turned it on, because one of them had undone itself while i put the others in, i hate these puch pins!

Good Overclock that baby now to 3.33 and prime test then overclock to 3.6 and prime test then go for the biggy 3.8 or 4.0 and prime test
