moniter cant detect signal?

im putting together my computer after fixing the cpu fan, and now the monitor wont detect the computer. I've tried hooking the moniter up to other computer and it works fine. What could be wrong?

probably your video card, make sure its in all the way, try reseting the BIOS.

if you have two dvi plugs try the other.

its the cable thats attached :[

and i cant reset the bios, the screen stays black when i plug it in and when i unplug it it says "cant detect signal"

is the connector from the psu connected to the video card properly?

well it doesnt require anything other than the pci slot, so that cant be the problem. And i tried the video slot in the motherboard and that didnt work either.

Edit: Its a Dell computer, I didn't put this one together myself

well it cant be dead..
because it was just working a little bit ago and then it did the same thing again. And the fan on the gpu is working

well it sounds like u might have broken the CPU or the motherboard. Do the lights on the keyboard flash when u turn it on? This shows that the bios has loaded up. try reseting the CMOS maybe?
