Question about the E6600

Thread Starter
I just recently installed Vista Ultimate 64-bit and I'm running a E6600 CPU.. I've noticed after my upgrade from XP to Vista that my CPU likes to pin out rather frequently.

Are there any suggestions or answers to this problem?

My core usage on both 0 and 1 fluctuate between 35 to 100% usage every 10 seconds or so and stays at 100% for about 3 or so seconds.

At 1.328v my cores for some reason aren't dropping below 85% and are sitting at 55c 53c rather consistent. Any helpful insight would be awesome, I'm going to bump the core voltage down to 1.28 again as well.

why don't we open up task manager, open the processes tab, sort decending by CPU usage, and see what's using all your clocks.

If it doesn't show up, click the box at the bottom that says something along the lines of ''show processes from all users".
