9850 OC Experiences and questions on M2N32 Sli Deluxe

Been fiddlin with my new 9850 for the past few days and here's the scoop.

Like many, I can get 14 X 200 running rock solid stable with only a minor voltage increase to Vcore.

Now, at 14 X 207 and around 1.36 volts, 2.1 volts ddr800, I ran Prime95 and core 2 hit a rounding error after 4 hours. All other cores went on without errors for over 9 hours. I read in many places that a bunch of people with AOD succeed in better overclocks by keeping the Core 2 and 3 clocks down. Unfortunately, I don't have that choice because of my mobo. Load temps tend to stay under 55 C. Oddly enough, at 14.5 X 200 and identical voltages, I can't even get into Vista. Anybody have thoughts on why? I would think 14 X 207 would be less stable seeing as in that situation I'm clocking up the RAM, HT and NB.

Also, at 14 X 207 I got more stability by upping NB and SB voltages (read somewhere it can help, and it did, couldn't get into Vista on auto settings). That being the case, anyone with my same board have any idea how far they can push these voltages safely and which of the voltage options in the advanced voltage menu actually make a difference? Don't wanna up any voltages that don't necessarily need it.

thats what Ive seen for people to get a stable 2.8. You have to play around the volatges when you want to OC alot

Hey there fellow Calgarian! 2.8 isn't too much of an issue for me with a variety of different FSB/Multi combos. Getting higher is the problem.

I'm also curious as to why a higher multi was less stable than higher FSB for me when going for 2.9.
