when i had the fan outside of the case i felt it and its blowing out the way i have it set. but when i put it back in i still feel air being bounced off it in that small area between red fan and tuniq tower. is it possible mesh on back of case is blocking it somehow?

Im not sure what you mean by bouncing off but its probably the power supply interfeering with the dirrection. Thats ok though. I dont think your fan is up to speed. Try stressing out your CPU to 100% and see if you can really feel the air. You should really be ably to feel it, not just a subtle breeze.

hmm your right about the power source but a vast majority of the PSU's hot air is blown out the back (makes me sweat its that hot :O). the fan on the bottom of the PSU is blowing down onto the tower and red fan but its kinda cool air maybe even sucking the air up. also if i stress CPU right now temps will hit 70C :\\

Only do it for a few seconds just to see if the fan is responding to the increased temps.

It's possible you CPU is bowed a little, or the bottom of your tuniq has a slight curve.
You might try lapping the tuniq, see if that helps.

Your temperatures (the first ones in your first post) are better then the ones my friend gets on his stock Q6600 (I haven't looked which revision but he bought it last week so I guess it's the G0 as well). He gets 35/36 at idle and 41/42 at load at 20/21 degrees Celsius (74F = 21.1C)
