Why both the 150 and 1800?
Just curious.
BTW, that is plenty CPU, you could even drop down to a bit slower one.
A 2.5G AMD equates to about a 3.7ish performance level.

Ok I have a few suggestions. I've been down this road before.

For tuners the 1800 Is excellent I own it. But it has issues with double tuners.

My suggestion is get this: (This is the remote version.. Only need 1)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815116010

Then this: (non remote version same card.)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815116009

As for the BluRay player - that one is OK but this one is much better as it plays both BluRay and HD DVD (HD DVD is not being made - but there are still a lot of movies only on HD DVD)

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136133

That's a solid board and processor. Though I still suggest getting the following:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115032

(This has Pure HD - much better than onboard)

only buy the intel/nvidia combo if you feel like you need the extra juice, its basically twice the price while the 3200 graphics paired with the 4850 CPU gets the job done perfectly.

The onboard graphics SUCK. I've used them on these HDMI boards with onboard. Movies stutter half the time and the entire experience is sluggish. Dedicated graphics card with a HD processor like the HD ATI series or 88/9800 nVidia cards are always better.

hmm but i'm not sure which IGPS you been using but the 780G is bascially a 3450 built onboard. I got one myself with the LG blu ray/HD DVD drive and watched jumper on it perfectly. 780G/8200/8300 all great igps for blu ray playing, 690G/7xxx series, G35 might have crapped all over in the past, but they wouldn't false advertise that 8300 can't play 1080p without studdering.

If you need some extra juice, hybrid crossfire on the 780G board with a 3450/3470. it'll b like using a 3650/8600GT.

Really? I havn't tried the newest onboard stuff. I guess they must have gotten better. If that is the case then definatly go that way for a strict HTPC as it's cheaper!
