I would have gotten an E7200 instead of my E2180, but my DS3L's BIOS supposedly didn't support Wolfdales. So I didn't risk it.

AMD CPUS tend to overclock better than intels if your comparing on crappy mobos with igps. so overall value is on the 5000+'s side.

e5xxx series will be the get all the attention once their released however. I'm planning on my next computer to crap out on the cpu like the upcoming e5200 but still overclock it like mad and make it up with GFX power.
