Would the 640 drive be roughly the same as the 750 listed on toms. The only diferrence in the part number is the 640 versus 750.

Definitely go with the 7200.11. They are by far rated the best by customers. Very quiet, very fast, very nice.

Not quite. The 640 uses 2 320GB platters and 4 heads. I believe the 750 uses 3/6 or 4/8.

I haven't seen any Seagate hdds with reviews as high as http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136218
