Overclock E6750 + P5N-E Sli with Screen

Thread Starter
Good afternoon to all,

How to buy a new machine, wanted to make it a basic Over to See if I learned

With this E6750 with Cooler Box, i made it running at 3.2GHz with default vcore and memos with 400 DRAMs Frequency as you can see in the photo and the rest left everything on auto, the windows have boot normallly and I'm using here, not yet tested any stress test, i've noticed that the temps in idle are 60 degrees and when I get something, the time to up to 70 degrees, I wonder if this is to reduce temps even with the cooler box and if possible Over in keeping the house of 3.0GHz ?

PS: Sorry for my english

And one More thing, when i change the Vcore in the Bios, the Core Temp shows the same default Core, even if i manage do put lower vcore, anyone know what i'm doing wrong ???

Welcome
That is very hot for that vcore.
I suggest you remount the CPU cooler.
What CPU cooler are you using?
I suggest you do not keep running that overclock at those temperatures. Check the CPU cooler is attatched properly.

they are reading your vid not reporting your vcore, use the "sensor" page on everest it will read your real vcore.

Welcome!

Stock Intel Cooler? If it is then maybe get a 3rd party one, Artic Cooling have decent ones for $10 or so. Those temperatures are not good especially since they are idle... I think they could hit about high 70s after a couple of hours of stress testing... NOT good.

In my opinion 69C and under in load is good temps.

Hope I help.
